- 250 g. Flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 2.5 tablespoons semolina
- 2 tablespoons powdered almonds
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 125 g. butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 handful of nuts– to decorate
Ingredients for syrup:
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 4 cups of water
- 3 – 4 drops of lemon juice
Preparation of syrup:
Put the powdered sugar and water in a small saucepan and mix and stir in the stove until it boils over medium heat, then boil over low heat. After the consistency of syrup thickened, take it from the stove and squeeze the lemon juice into it and leave it to cool.
Put the flour in a large mixing bowl, add baking powder, semolina, powdered almonds and powdered sugar, and mix all the dry ingredients with a whisk.
Then open a hole in the middle of the dry ingredients and add the melted butter, eggs and mix in it, then slowly mix with dry ingredients with a fork.
When the dough has recovered, give it a consistency with your hand and create 30 g walnut-sized ball.
Place on the tray and leave among them the same space. Place nuts on the balls .
After preparing all the dough in this way, bake in a 180 degree preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the drought balls are browned. Pour cold syrup over your hot dessert. Serve after taking the syrup.
